Launch of the Chair

On June 24, it was presented the South EU Google Data Governance Chair, a forum for reflection on future challenges in data regulation and governance at the European level led by Professor José Luis Piñar from CEU San Pablo University, and whose Academic Board is made up of professors Maria da Graça Canto Moniz (Universidade Nova de Lisboa); Georgios Yannopoulos (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) and Vincenzo Zeno-Zencovich (Università RomaTre).

The South EU Google Data Governance Chair focuses on scientific reflection and research in the academic field on Data Governance in the context of European countries. The Chair analyzes the challenges of Law and Data Governance in areas such as Big Data, Data Driven Innovation, Artificial Intelligence and International Flows of Personal Data.
